Same hour consultation & treatment

Overview

For new patients, and for returning patients whose last visit with us was more than 12 months ago. A complete one-hour appointment with a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon: full assessment, proctoscopy, and - if appropriate and you choose to proceed - eXroid® electrotherapy treatment in the same visit. No general anaesthetic, no cutting, no stitching, and most patients return to their normal day afterwards.

What to expect

   Consultation

   Your surgeon takes a full history and explains exactly what eXroid® does, what it does not do, and what to expect.

   Proctoscopy & decision

   After examination, you and your surgeon decide together whether to proceed with treatment in this visit.

3. 3

   eXroid® electrotherapy

   A gentle current is applied to up to three internal haemorrhoids. No cutting, no stitching, no general anaesthetic.

4. 4

   Aftercare

   Your surgeon walks you through aftercare, what to expect over the next 4 weeks, and how to reach us if anything changes.
